The project is a new bike saftey iniative called Bike Smart. We have been working on 10 animated videos that are about to go into post production. Here is a screen shot from one of the videos (they are pretty funny). More to come when the project officially wraps up.

I had a chance to drop by 5th avenue with a friend this afternoon and check out some of the window displays. Large crowds, roasting nuts, and honking cabs are usually things I try to avoid, but I found myself thoroughly enjoying the dying remnants of glorified consumerism. It is fun to get into a holiday spirit.

I did not catch the name of the store these displays were at, but I enjoyed them immensely. Bravo to the display designer, if anyone knows his/her name please email me.

The studio is located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn & is about 15 minutes (by subway) outside of Manhattan. I share the studio with five other illustrators I graduated with from School of Visual Arts (all of whom are doing amazing things). We have two editorial gurus: Jonathan Bartlett & Andrew Roberts who publish in just about every magazine you can find on the shelf. We have two comic artists: Brendan Leach (who just published a book & was in Best American Comics) & Anne Emond (who has an amazing! web comic). Lastly, we all have the pleasure of witnessing Kelley Hensing paint.
